MATTHEW BERTHOLD PROMOTED TO WESTFIELD BANK CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Westfield Center, Ohio- July 2010- Matthew Berthold has been promoted to chief financial officer of Westfield Bank, replacing Joseph Kohmann who moved to Westfield Insurance as Assistant Group Finance Leader.

During his 12 years of banking experience, Berthold developed his specialization in credit analysis. At Westfield Bank, Berthold managed the loan department, including underwriting teams, loan operations and loan administration.

A 2008 Graduate of Leadership Medina County, Berthold is also an active member of the community serving as a member of the Knights of Columbus Medina Council and Columbia Game Club of Ashland. He graduated from The University of Akron with a Bachelors of Science in Corporate Finance.

Berthold and his wife Laura reside in Medina with their two children. In his spare time, he enjoys family activities and outdoor sporting.
