We offer a blend of health and welfare benefits designed to promote employee physical and mental wellness, as well as retirement benefits designed to provide financial resources during your retirement years. Health and Welfare Benefits:

  • Group Health Insurance: Healthcare is an essential benefit in today's world. Westfield Group is pleased to offer medical, dental and voluntary vision insurance to all full-time employees. We currently offer a variety of health care plans from which employees can choose to best meet their health care needs. Prescription coverage is included in the medical options.
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP): Employees' mental well-being is just as critical as their physical well-being. Therefore, Westfield Group offers an EAP, which is a confidential counseling and referral service available to all full-time and part-time employees and their families.
  • Flexible Spending Account: The Flexible Spending Account provides full-time employees with the opportunity to pay for certain health care and dependent care expenses with pre-tax dollars. The options available through the flexible spending account enable employees to obtain a tax savings on reimbursable expenses through the form of lower taxable income.
  • Health Savings Account: If you are eligible for an HSA, you can fund it pre-tax through Westfield Bank and Health Equity. You may be able to set aside pre-tax money to pay for eligible medical, dental, vision and prescription expenses. Unlike a Flexible Spending Account, the remaining balance rolls over year to year and the money remains with you if you ever leave or retire from Westfield Group.
  • Inn Club Fitness Center: Our home office offers an onsite fitness center with group fitness classes and personal trainers to help you maintain your health and well-being.

Life Insurance and Disability Benefits:

  • Group Term Life & AD&D Plan: Providing for the financial needs of employees and their families in the event that employees pass away is important for employees' family's well-being. All full-time employees are provided with group term life insurance and accidental death benefits.
  • Supplemental Term Life and AD&D Plan: Full-time employees are provided the opportunity during our annual enrollment period to purchase supplemental life and accidental death and dismemberment insurance for themselves, their spouses and eligible dependents to help meet financial obligations in the event of a death.
  • Short-Term Disability Program: Financial stability during times when you are dealing with medical issues is important. Short-term disability provides financial protection to full-time employees who become temporarily disabled because of a non-work-related injury or illness.
  • Long-Term Disability Plan: Sometimes people experience disabilities that prevent them from returning to work for an extended period of time. In these instances, full-time employees may be eligible for long-term disability benefits after satisfying an elimination period.

Retirement Benefits:

  • Westfield Employee Retirement Savings Plan (401(k) plan): Westfield Group recognizes the importance of helping employees provide financially for their retirement years. As a result, full-time employees and most part-time employees participate immediately in the Westfield Employee Retirement Savings Plan. Westfield makes a safe harbor contribution for each eligible employee, and employees have the opportunity to make elective salary deferrals of their own.
  • Pension Plan: To help supplement Social Security benefits for retirees, Westfield Group provides a defined benefit pension plan. Full-time employees participate in the Ohio Farmers Pension Plan. Both early and normal retirement benefits are available for eligible employees.

Time Off Benefits:

  • Vacation: At Westfield Group, we believe that vacation serves the best interests of employees, as well as the Company, by allowing employees the opportunity to take paid time off from work for rest and relaxation. Full-time employees receive paid vacation based on their years of service.
  • Sick Leave Policy: Westfield Group recognizes that from time to time, employees may need to miss work due to illness of either themselves or their immediate family members. Therefore, the Company offers full-time employees a defined number of paid sick days per calendar year. If non-exempt employees do not use all of their sick days in a given calendar year, they may receive reimbursement for unused sick days.
  • Holidays/Floating Holidays: Westfield Group believes in the importance of celebrating the holidays with your loved ones. Full-time employees are eligible to receive paid holidays for company observed holidays and floating holidays, which may be taken any time during the calendar year.

Educational Benefits:

  • Training & development programs: Westfield Group recognizes the importance of employee development by offering onsite development classes and programs through Westfield University. These programs will assist you in developing in your current role and advancing into other roles within the company.
  • Educational Reimbursement Program: Westfield Group recognizes the importance of employee development by supporting employees who are seeking further education through the educational reimbursement program. The educational reimbursement program reimburses tuition and other related expenses for certain undergraduate and graduate coursework/degree programs by paying tuition for qualified full-time employees who meet eligibility requirements.

Financial Benefits:

  • Employee Bonus Program: Since employees are Westfield Bank's greatest assets and ultimately contribute to the Company's success, we feel it is only fair that employees share in the profitability of the Company. Full-time employees who meet certain eligibility requirements may receive various bonus/incentives based on the results of the Company.
