Westfield Bank & First Financial Merger Update
We are excited to share that the sale of Westfield Bank to First Financial Bank has received regulatory approval and the sale is complete. While this is an important milestone, it’s just the first step as we begin to merge Westfield Bank into First Financial.
What’s next?
Please continue to bank with us as you always have, using the same branches, accounts, cards and systems. We’re also excited to welcome many Westfield Bank employees to First Financial so that in most cases you’ll continue to bank with same familiar bankers now and in the future.
Will my accounts change?
The Westfield Bank and First Financial Bank teams are hard at work behind the scenes preparing to combine the two banks. You’ll have the same type of accounts and services, including a wide variety of business and consumer products and services, including agency and premium finance lending. You’ll also start to have access to new products and services. You’ll receive more detailed information after the first of the year.
Do I need to do anything now?
You don’t. After the first of the year, you will start to receive communications about the transition of your accounts and services. You’ll receive complete details well in advance of when your account(s) are converted.
To ensure you receive all the upcoming communications, it is important to have accurate contact information. If your information has changed, please let us know right away and we will make the appropriate updates.
